On Sunday 9th November 2025, the residents of Dronfield will come together to commemorate and remember those who have died in world wars and other conflicts.
This year, due to the ongoing closure of Church Street, the current plan is for the parade to begin on Soaper Lane. If Church Street reopens before 9th November, then the usual parade route from School Lane will be used.
The parade will then proceed to the Library Gardens. A minute's silence will be observed, and local organisations and groups will lay a wreath to honour those who served and sacrificed.
Chair of the Council and Town Mayor Cllr Susan Burkitt says “Every year, the residents of Dronfield always provide tremendous support for this event and we look forward to seeing you all on the day.”
Please note: road closures will be in operation on the morning of the event to facilitate safe passage for the parade.
